ABOUT

A proud Winnipegger, my academic journey with Brandon University began in 2014 with a colleague and a leap of faith. With the support of my husband, I juggled two young children and a full-time teaching job while I embarked on the path of the Graduate Studies program. The online route was flexible and accommodated our busy schedules. I toted my books and laptop to every hockey rink and soccer pitch in the city.

The last four years have been gruelling at times, but well worth the lessons I've learned by completing the Masters of Education program with a focus in Special Education.

I am currently a member of the student support team at Whyte Ridge School in Pembina Trails School Division. I try to be the person who is irrationally crazy about my students.
